Member loempiavreter Posted November 1, 2010 Member Share Posted November 1, 2010 Pleasantly suprised by Monk's Fight, one of the 3 unreleased Rarescope movies project from Jamal. Easily my favorite of the trio, great movie imo. I was already expecting maybe too much, because of Casanova Wong playing a white hair fox, but it exceeded my expectations (plus for the fact that casanova & co had these outlandish designs, love that sort of stuff... although I didn't quite get what they where supposed to be, Japanese pirates? They looked 'comicbook' cool). The main lead, Lee Wing, apparently also the action director, is quite a mysterious character. I looked up his resume and apparently he only made this movie. His attitude and charisma reminds me of something in between Bruce Lee and Sonny Chiba. His fighting style as well closer resembled those two then most kung fu heroes of the day. I thought he was a korean kicker at first. Im curious why he get the part of action director/main lead without anything on his resume? Was he a tourny champ of some sort?
