Guest jirpy100
Forrest Whitaker (sp?) plays Ugandan dictator Idi Amin. He was as crazy as Mugabe and did much worse. The film is seen through the eyes of a Scottish doctor, and could've been better if played through the eyes of a citizen for instance. The doctor is pretty immoral I thought, and could have died for all I care. Overall not nearly as good as I hoped it would be, but the acting is still good and they don't make many films about things like this. The film doesn't do enough to show the devastation that Amin caused though.
Guest sevenhooks
There was a great little b-movie exploitation shocker from the late 70's/early 80's called the Rise and Fall of Idi Amin. Seek it out if you can. I dug it a lot more than Last King of Scotland.
