Member AlbertV Posted October 12, 2010 Member Share Posted October 12, 2010 Hey guys The 25th Anniversary edition of BACK TO THE FUTURE is coming to Blu-Ray and DVD. An extra they included in this new edition is original footage that features Eric Stoltz as Marty McFly. After five weeks of shooting, Robert Zemeckis showed the footage to Steven Spielberg and said that Stoltz wasn't bringing in the comic element necessary for the role. Spielberg agreed and then history was made when Michael J. Fox came in to replace Stoltz as Marty. Member Bravery Posted October 12, 2010 Member Share Posted October 12, 2010 I've wanted to see the Eric Stoltz footage for a while, and I wondered on the Complete trilogy why it wasnt added. I believe they said on the commentary that they didn't have the footage, or thy weren't able to show it. But, I will be buying this edition, and just for the Stoltz scenes.
