Member teako170 Posted October 6, 2010 Member Share Posted October 6, 2010 I have two copies of this movie. Both have the 104 min Thai version. Ong-Bak: Muay Thai Warrior [uK SE 2-Disc Set] w/ Bey Logan commentary http://www.hkflix.com/xq/asp/filmID.535963/qx/details.htm Ong-Bak: Muay Thai Warrior [uncut Australian SE 2-Disc Set] http://www.hkflix.com/xq/asp/filmID.535130/qx/details.htm Question is, I don't need both copies so is one copy preferred over the other? Or is it the old "six of one, half dozen of the other" and it doesn't matter? Thanks.....
Member make believe Posted October 6, 2010 Member Share Posted October 6, 2010 I think it comes down to what extras you prefer. Doesn't one have a bunch of deleted scenes while the other has more making of / behind the scenes kind of stuff? Also are you sure both of the films are identical? Doesn't the soundtrack differ on one of them? OK according to DVDcompare : "Note that the Australian R0 DVD version maintains the complete original Thai soundtrack, while the UK DVD includes newly composed music.
