Moderator Karlos Posted October 3, 2010 Moderator Share Posted October 3, 2010 Hi all Anyone mentioned this on here? It's a Dan Chupong film, with action supervised by Panna Rittikrai. I don't recall seeing any mention of it on here - any of you guys seen it? If so, what's the verdict?
Member whitesnake Posted October 4, 2010 Member Share Posted October 4, 2010 This was released earlier this year on DVD under the title Legend of the Tsunami Warrior, from Magnet (Magnolia). It was fluff, but fun to watch, confusing to follow in places. The hero was like an early Thai Aquaman. Some good eye candy.
Member ShaOW!linDude Posted October 4, 2010 Member Share Posted October 4, 2010 I've not seen it but my understanding is that there's not that much if any MA action in it. It's mainly a f/x heavy fantasy picture. Not that there's anything wrong with that and, please, correct me it I'm wrong. I didn't know this was the same picture as 'Legend of the Tsunami Warrior'. I might pick that up when the price drops.
Moderator Karlos Posted October 4, 2010 Author Moderator Share Posted October 4, 2010 Awesome! Thanks for the heads up, guys! It looks a fun little flick, think I'll pick it up!
Member Poelie Posted October 4, 2010 Member Share Posted October 4, 2010 I did not find it very interesting, even boring. It is indeed more of a fantasy with heavy CGI.
Member lillippa328 Posted October 4, 2010 Member Share Posted October 4, 2010 not much action in this one.....lacks in a lot of martial arts and lacks in a lot of cool FX....but its still decent....id say if u find it for 5 bucks or a rental its worth....but i bought it for 13 and kinda dissapointed....the few FX and fight scenes they have are cool tho
Member gorhama Posted October 5, 2010 Member Share Posted October 5, 2010 I thought this was a fan fantasy action movie. I thought there was a decent amount of martial arts action and as always Mr. Chupong does not disappoint. Karlos I think you'll dig it man!!
