Carl where's the Bruceploitation films on your list?!!!!! :b

But seriously, I have to agree with you on Way of the Dragon, it's one of my all time favorite martial arts films. It doesn't get much better than that battle between Bruce and Chuck imo......

I've always said a favorite film (or song) must stand the test of time. That 20 or 30 years later, it will invoke the same passion despite multiple viewings. So here's the rundown:

Its A Wonderful Life - Frank Capra/Jimmy Stewart masterpiece.

The Good, the Bad, the Ugly - Eastwood, Leone, Morricone. It don't get no better.

Star Wars (the original) - Saw in this theater over 50 times as a kid. Its still phenomenal 30 years later.

Jaws - Scared the crap out of me in 1975 and it still demands respect years later.

Joe vs. the Volcano - This one surprises folks. First and fairly unknown of the Hanks/Ryan rom-com trilogy.

Rocky - The backstory of this film is as inspiring as the film itself. Bravo Stallone.

Grease - A musical? Yeah, this was one of my favs in the 70s and its still a great ride.

St. Elmos Fire - The 80's were thee decade!

The Great Escape - Powerful, all-star cast.

Shadow of A Doubt - Hitchock's favorite as is mine. Sinister storyline.

All non-KF/Samurai which would take the majority of the list;)

Western - The Good, The Bad, The Ugly

Horror - Evil Dead 2, The Exorcist, The Shining

Comedy - Pet Detective (1 and 2), Super Troopers, Dumb and Dumber, Clerks

Sword - Conan the B, Sword and the Scorcerer, LOTR (all 3, but I think the last one fell a bit short)

Docs - The Endless Summer 1 and 2
