Spanish company Selecta Vision are to release 4 Lee films on Blu ray in Spain in November. Not sure if its the same masters used in Hong Kong. Bad news no English dub or subtitles, but hopefully this means some other countries in Europe may release them, hopefully with better transfers and original mono.

Dunno about the BDs, but for the DVDs Selecta used the Fortune Star transfers. They even had the FS logo on the covers. So I´d bet this will be the same. Only added features could be the extras. The Bruce Lee spanish dvds had some juciy audio comentaries (in spanish)

It was the spanish trailer that contained the head blood splurting scene with James Tien at the Boss's mansion. So if they use the original spanish print then maybe we will see it restored?

More reason to spend money on Big Boss yet again!

As I said in another thread on imdb there`s an entry that reveals that in spain there were two different versions shown..

Karate a muerte en Bangkok and

Karate a muerte en Bangkok: 25th anniversario

The Paramount Release of TBB has the same specs (+ jap subs) as the HK ones except a pretty cool cover imo ;)

What bothers me is it looks like no Mono option so its just the terrible remixes with added sound fx.:squigglemouth:

They'll all be like that unless a specfic company goes out of their way to ask for mono. Fortune Star aren't going to volunteer original audio or improved masters. It needs to be demanded. Not many companies have the knowledge or balls to do it.
