Member fiol Posted August 25, 2010 Member Share Posted August 25, 2010 Dir: Wenhua Li I finally watched this old mainland flick.... and damn if it's good... there are some scenes which shouldnt be there (like the romantic one on the beach......, but at least the song was ok eheh) and in the fight scene at the end is just priceless!Wanna know why? well, the M.A. stuff is really good indeed but the director chose to film that scene between Chi Wang (Hei Sha Zhang,the bad guy) and Qun Wang (Wu Jia Tai) in two different beaches... i cant understand why and so the result is not really pleasent.. Anyway, the stunts in this movie are... amazing! Monks who fall from everywhere, stuff that get broken in every scenes... chaos everywhere ahah Xiling Zhang, Chi Wang,Qun Wang, Qiufu Tao and Guang Li were beastly.. I have the mainland dvd which doesnt have any subs (although when they sing there are chinese subs eheh), the quality is pretty good (sometimes the color change from "original" to "yellow") but at least the master is clear (not like the vcd (?) scenes u can find on youtube).
