Member Rhythm-X Posted August 13, 2010 Member Share Posted August 13, 2010 This doesn't seem like a big deal in terms of content being available or not. While News Corp has sold a controlling stake, it appears that the company will still hold the reins: Jack Gao, Vice President of News Corporation and Chief Executive Officer of Star China, will be the Chief Executive Officer of the new company. It's paper shuffling around, for better or worse - with the same people in charge it doesn't sound like anything will get better or worse as a result, at least not immediately - over time, of course, it could go either way. I don't expect this to be an utter catastrophe, as the 1999 WB purchase of Golden Harvest's library wound up being.
