Speaking of WTF titles, try:

Point the Finger of Death (the original title's not much better:

One-Armed Chivalry Fights Against One-Armed Chivalry)

The Six Directions Boxing

Half a Loaf of Kung Fu!

A Slice of Death (but not a whole loaf)

The Brave in Kung Fu Shadow ("The Brave" WHAT?!?)

All those "Wu-Tang" video titles ("Ho's, Thugs and Scrillah?")

Titles that promise ninjas and/or Shaolin and give neither

How about these for your religious fare:

Pray For Death

Spiritual Kung Fu

The 7 Commandments of Kung Fu :crossedlips:

Thou Shalt Not Kill

Forced To Fight

Sacred Knives of Vengeance

Holy Robe of Shaolin

The Bastard Swordsman

Kung Fu From Beyond The Grave :ooh:

C'mon, there's more...

Shaolin Drunken Munk, Gordon Liu's very uncomfortable to watch love scene with some girl in a cave.

Hey Iron Boat !

Why do you say that the Master Killer Is uncomfortable in the cave with the female? Or do you mean he is uncomfortable to watch in the scene ?

I like the movie & have never really minded that part of the movie ..But as I am female maybe I don't get the inside male joke ! ;)

Yes. I found that wholly unpleasant and marred the film a tad for me.

A tad ??? Well I HATE the movie because of that scene !

Here is a little known Shaw fact : 5 Monkeys were killed during the shooting of/preparation for that scene.

None of them were the performing monkey you see in the rest of the movie, just other "worthless" monkeys ;(..

Whoever eat the monkey brains that day should have the same done to them in ten fold..

I don't like animal cruelty in any form, certainly not for entertainment... Not even for medical research .

I know the rest of the movie is good (action etc..), but I hate it & never watch it ...

So in this case the WTF is the psycho's responsible !

Thank you thehangman !

I hate it too ...& it is always the biggest obstacle for me when it comes my love of HK films...

Luckily this is improving now , more likely motivated by the potential western market & not necessarily for a new found respect for animals ...

But less animal cruelty for what ever reasons is a winner !!

Thanks again , Athena..♥

Most of Game of Death II was a giant WTF moment, but I remember watching it for the first time with a couple friends and one of them spit their drink out when "Bruce" gets attacked at night by the guy dressed up in a cheap lion costume.

Also, the Shaolin Technodrome at the end with Hwang Jang Lee and the electrified floor.

Classic, totally classic.

I don't think Gordon Liu looked very comfortable in that scene and as a viewer, and a male, I found it hard to watch. It just didn't seem like he really wanted to do that scene.

I'm not really a big fan of Hwang Jang Lee, I haven't seen many of his films but from what I have seen he is the ultimate in cheese kung fu films. Or maybe its just his characters in particular that wreeks with cheese.

You must just be watching the wrong movies. Ninja Terminator, Martial Monks, Duel of Ultimate Weapons... his characters are really cheesy. But there's so many movies where he's not cheesy. The first time I ever saw him was in Snake in the Eagle's Shadow, and he’s so badass, he instantly became one of my favorite actors. He actually scared me a bit he plays the role so well. He’s also extremely badass in Drunken Master, The Invincible Armor, Snuff Bottle, Buddha Assassinator, Magnificent Warriors, Shaolin Blood Mission, Tiger Over Wall, Hitman in the Hand of Buddha… Even in a movie where they give a ridiculous wig like 36 Deadly Styless, he still gives a great performance. He may have been given some cheesy roles in his career, but he's easily one of the best acting, best fighting, and coolest looking kung fu actors ever.

Thanks I'll check some of these films out, correct me if I'm wrong, I'm sure he was in these films, I just watched Secret Rivals and Ninja in the Dragons Den recently and he shows up near the end of both films very cheesy.

Lol, hey I'm sure I can't be the only one who went WTF! when they saw Master Killer hop on a chic and got to pecking away, Gordon Liu in a B-movie love scene in a grimy cave, that was borderline porn for a Gordon Liu flic.

Yep, he was cheesy in both movies, but in different ways. In Secret Rivals his wig and head band made him look cheesy, but he was a total badass with the way he played his role. In Dragon's Den he looks badass, but it ended up being a cheesy role with the bowling ball and the way he dies.

What was even cheesier is him showing up in the golden wig in the secret rivals 2:xd: but he's a no fucking around strait up badass in both movies, the last 30 minutes of part 2 is sweet awesomo-fu-ness.

Morgoth I remember when we were talking about Fu Sheng running out the door carrying Lilly Li by her ankles in slowmo and dunking her in the well, definitely a wtf moment, deadly breaking sword I think.

I have always had a hard time understanding Fu Shengs character in Deadly Breaking Sword, in terms of mood and tone it's a strange film.

I can't remember Hwang Jang Lee in Snake in the Eagles Shadow to well, a shame cause I watched it not too long ago, but I do recall his beatdown of Jackie Chan in Drunken Master and yes it was pretty violent and a bit disturbing.

Its not old school but Rob B Hood had some WTF moments, one involving a car battery and pretty much the whole final scene. I hadn't been that jarred by a movie since first watching Miike films. Although Rob B Hood was more of a stupid WTF.

San Kuai chopping some dude like 10 times in chest in 10 Magnificent Killers and instead of seeing fresh wounds, the cuts look like they're a week old.

Lo Rei spitting up what looks like milk after being hit in Shaolin vs. Lama.

Yeah he is awesome in Kid From Kwangtung. Love the scene where he is kicking everyone while holding his cat.

Yeah that final fight is pretty jaw dropping! His best performance fighting wise i think.

lol, as I am reading I am reminded of a lot of WTF moments.

Shaolin Drunkards, pretty much a WTF film

The Foot Monster in Buddah Palm

Meng Fei fight with the Dwarf in Unbeaten 28

Steven Chows swollen lips in KF hustle

Chang Yis smoking hands in Phanton KF

Wu Mas pigtails in 8 escorts

Silent movie scene in The Challenger.

I will think some of more for sure.
