Hey Kung Fu fans

It has been a long while since I have posted here but have been crazy busy the last two years. I am nearing a deadline with publishers (end of August) and am frantically trying to finish a book dealing with some classic Kung Fu Cinema. I have a list of questions I wanted to post here and your answer may find it's way quoted into the book....

My first question is are there some immediate titles that come to mind of older films (pre 1972, say) that dealt with a lost book, or manual that was being sought for learning Kung Fu. The book can even have been discovered in the early part of the film, but am trying to find a few.

Thanks in advance and will follow up with more in the ensuing days and weeks.

Best!

Two from Shaw Brothers, One-Armed Swordsman (1967) and The Thunderbolt Fist (1972) use manuals as a plot point.:nerd:
