Guest kungfusamurai Posted October 2, 2007 Share Posted October 2, 2007 I thought I'd check out this film after reading reviews that didn't quite pan it, but didn't flatter the film either. I had been recently disappointed with Eastern Promises, which had glowing reviews, but I found it pretty weak and the ending unsatisfying. Going into Shoot em Up with low expectations might have helped, but I really enjoyed this flick! It features a lot of fun, cliched action and one-liner moments. I guess it helped that it didn't take itself too seriously. Plus, it wasn't family oriented, which was nice, so there was plenty of well-placed gore and nudity!
