Professional Killer, Frank Ng, has been contracted to murder a Chinese crime lord. The routine hit goes awry when Frank discovers his mark is actually a vampire. Suddenly, the tables have turned. The professional killer - the hunter - has become the hunted. This is no ordinary vampire of myths and legends, however. Frank has come face to face with the vengeful Kiang-Shi (Chinese vampire), and it vows to inflict upon Frank such unbearable pain that death will be his only sanctuary. Cursed, Frank is condemned to helplessly witness the horrific and merciless deaths of those he loves, everyone he knows, and anyone he merely brushes by. His anguish intensifies when he dooms his younger brother to this terrible fate. Enlisting the help of a Chinese herbalist, knowledgeable in the ways of ancient lore, and an unlikely team of vampire hunters, Frank strikes out in a final battle against the Kiang-Shi and his minions of the dark. Tonight, Frank Ng will discover that to destroy the monster, one must become the monster!

Hello everyone! I stumbled on your forum here and thought I'd join to post a response here. I'm one of a very small group of people who made "God of Vampires." It's our first feature length film, which was made under very harsh conditions with very little money, over the course of 6 years! There is a documentary included on the DVD that explains some of what we went through to make the film. If anyone checks it out, I hope you dig it!

Thank you much! :) It's actually available now at Amazon.com. Also, we have a chance of getting it on Netflix but we need to get enough people to add it to their Netflix list, so if everyone (who has Netflix) would do that, that would be amazing! :)

Oh? Funny- after I asked that question last night, I actually went to Netflix and requested it ("saved" the title).

Sadly, on my budget I can't buy much. I hope more people request this for Netflix!

Thanks Kung Fu Bob! Much appreciated! :)

daisho2004, in answer to your question, this is our first feature length film although we did release a short film called "Lost Face," which is based on a story by Jack London. It was included as an extra on a DVD called "Suburban Nightmare." One of the major hurdles we had with "God of Vampires" was sound, which forced us to head into a studio an dub the film. IRONICALLY, this gives the film an even greater Asian feel. FORTUNATELY, everyone who's seen the film has enjoyed it enough that they always forgive the audio. When "El Mariachi" first came out, IT TOO had bad sound but became popular enough that they were sent back to a GREAT studio for dub it again, so who knows, I guess anything could happen. Rob Fitz, the director is a professional make up artist and horror film fanatic. Soooo alll upcoming films, at least from him.....at least for a while will be horror-based. We're working on the 4th or 5th drift right now of our next film which has been written between myself, Rob and our friend George Krstic, creator of a Cartoon Network program called Megas XLR and now he's a writer on The Clone Wars. I apologize to the forum to admit that there's no martial arts in the next film, but I don't think it's out of our lives completely. There's been some discussion about POSSIBLY creating a sequel to GOV, and I've actually thought up some really cool fight scenes that we can achieve with a bigger budget. For that to happen though. GOV would obviously need to be popular enough to support a sequel, and where as it just came out,...that remains to be seen! :)

Anywho, here's the trailer if anyone's interested. Also, if anyone is attending Dragon Con this year in Atlanta, Ga. We will be there as well.Always nice to meet people face to face :)
