Member hardz Posted June 27, 2010 Member Share Posted June 27, 2010 I've read a few posts where people claim to own a 110 minute version of OngBak 2. As I can't find it anywhere on the net, is it possible to upload the missing footage ?
Member Gaijin84 Posted June 28, 2010 Member Share Posted June 28, 2010 According to a listing on eBay, the Australian release is 110 min. I'm contemplating spending the money to find out. Can anyone confirm that? I think the cover looks like this:
Member Improvisation Posted June 28, 2010 Member Share Posted June 28, 2010 Yup, according to IMDB the runtime is: 98 min | Germany:110 min (European Film Market) Try to find a German version if you want the extended cut. As long as you can get subs...not that it would really matter with a Tony Jaa movie anyway

Member hardz Posted June 30, 2010 Author Member Share Posted June 30, 2010 There have also been reports that the covers that state a run time of 110 min actually contain the 93 min cut. If a 110min cut was shown at film festivals and first press dvds, then how come the footage isn't on any dvd/bluray release as "extras", or even uploaded to various "tube" sites ? Member hardz Posted July 1, 2010 Author Member Share Posted July 1, 2010 just got a reply from the Australian ebay seller who confirms it's a run time mistake and the feature is 94 minutes. The German seller replied that it's 98 minutes. Question is, does 98 minutes PAL convert to 110 minutes 35mm film ?

The Pal difference would only be 3 or 4 minutes tops. Oh well...
Member hardz Posted July 1, 2010 Author Member Share Posted July 1, 2010 What does this actually mean " IMDB the runtime is: 98 min | Germany:110 min (European Film Market)"
Member hardz Posted July 10, 2010 Author Member Share Posted July 10, 2010 Just got the German bluray, and it's 97 minutes but can't see any real difference from the standard UK bluray. Where the heck is this missing footage ?
Member thundered mantis Posted July 10, 2010 Member Share Posted July 10, 2010 The blu rays are not PAL nor NTSC, so if the German BD is 97 min., it will be exactly the same than any other 97 min. BD. It seems all a mistake advertising the running times
Member hardz Posted July 10, 2010 Author Member Share Posted July 10, 2010 the anomaly here is that within one of the threads in this very forum, someone claims to own a 110 minute version and describes the additional training footage. Wish they'd upload it for us fans to see (if it exists).
