Member popsjnr Posted October 29, 2011 Member Share Posted October 29, 2011 NO HK movie of shaws, Legend of 7 Golden Vampires and Shatter were Hammer/Shaws coproductions so they are exceptions, were filmed in synchsound they were post dubbed later. Of course they spoke Cantonese on the set of Pole Fighters but where are the boom mikes to record the sound in the documentary???

Member David Rees Posted October 30, 2011 Member Share Posted October 30, 2011 Most films made in HK will have Cantonese spoken on set, because that is the main language of Hong Kong! If a film is post dubbed in Cantonese and Mandarin at the same time i think there both valid languages, if someone is dubbing there own voice then i can see the reason for the argument.
