Can anyone confirm if this information is legit?.   - "There is no doubt that Bruce Lee stopped in Japan when he was traveling. (There is a letter he wrote to Mr. Kimura or Mr. Dan Lee (I forgot...) with a Tokyo postmark.) But so far, no photos of him in Japan have been confirmed" Source: https://blog-goo-ne-jp.translate.goog/jboowy1969/e/aa6bf10b23d573bc63af7519aeb8cd96?_x_tr_sl=ja&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en&_x_tr_pto=sc

Finally got around watching  the Korean BD the other day and actually found this to be a genuinely affecting, beautifully lensed, and wickedly funny lil' film. Yoo Ah-In's body language was utterly fantastic, loved the story's farcical leanings and morbid humor. And man, the portrayal of these cranky country g's had me in stitches and somehow brought up memories of those monastery asylum-seeking knuckleheads in HI DHARMA! Also thought there was nothing whatsoever wrong with the ending. An engaging piece of cinema, no less.

"With the release of DVDs, we can now watch old movies in beautiful quality, but at the same time, we can also watch commentaries from people involved in the movies as bonus footage, and the amount of information is truly surprising for a movie environment. Until then, I had no opportunity to hear such old stories, but since the beginning of this century, I have had the opportunity to meet senior PR people, as well as directors and stars in the production of DVD bonus footage, and I have been able to hear some really interesting stories from those days. Among them, one story I really wanted to confirm was that Bruce Lee had come to Tokyo. What this means is that before Toho-Towa selected and entrusted "Enter the Dragon" and "Fist of Fury" to Golden Harvest, Katsu Productions had actually entrusted them to them, and it was at this time that Shintaro Katsu and Bruce Lee met in Tokyo. In those days, Tokyo was a transit stop when traveling between Hong Kong and the United States, and there was a story going around, the veracity of which is unclear, that Bruce Lee used the transit stop to meet Shintaro Katsu, who was then extremely popular in Southeast Asia with his role as Zatoichi. As you know, Shaw Brothers had acquaintances with the four major Japanese film companies, and Raymond Chow, who left Shaw Brothers to create Golden Harvest, and Jimmy Wang also had close ties with Japan, which resulted in the film "Zatoichi: Break! The Chinese Sword." And since "Fist of Fury" stars two actors from Katsu Productions at the time, Riki Hashimoto and Jun Katsumura, I think fans thought it would be no surprise if Katsu Shintaro and Bruce Lee had met, but now I can't ask either of them, so I thought the only thing I could do was ask his wife, and I spoke with director Kei Nakata, who used to visit Katsu Productions often. An article that dispels such doubts was published in today's Nikkan Gendai. In fact, a serial by non-fiction writer Kenta Tazaki titled "Katsu Shintaro and His Times" is currently being published, and in it, there is a passage about how a certain foreign actor once visited Katsu's office, and he was invited to distribute a movie starring that man at his office, and went to see a preview. The passage goes on to describe his meeting with Bruce Lee. So, if you are interested, please read the December 2nd (released December 1st) issue of Nikkan Gendai.
